DESCRIPTION:
On the evening of September 12, 2013, Joe Carabeo and Carolyn Belefski took part in the Comics Making Studio exhibit at Artisphere in Arlington, Virginia and did a live limited edition drawing installation on the chalk wall in the Works in Progress Gallery, which also featured original art from Magic Bullet, Washington, D.C.’s free comics anthology newspaper. Joe came up with an animal and an object and Carolyn drew the combination. Twenty illustrations were completed over the course of approximately four hours. Each illustration was completed, photographed, and erased in the same spot on the chalk wall. The illustrations are reproduced here in print form to continue the exhibit beyond the live show. Enjoy!
