Master Comic Workshop: Splash Pages And Panels With Josh Bayer

Cartoonist and educator Josh Bayer takes us into the weeds for a discussion on some techniques for dealing with the most prevalent issues in making a panel work; the small details, We look at how to best play with space, explore a composition, and place a figure into a convincing reality by engaging with inspirations from the past. We work from the corners and towards the center in this effort to explore new ways to make a world within the page. Materials will be provided, but attendees are also encouraged to bring their sketchbooks and preferred tools.
