About Volunteering
SPX is always looking for friendly volunteers to work the day of the show. Volunteers receive free admission to all days of the show as well as invitations to any private SPX events. We ask our volunteers to agree to work a 4 hour shift during the show.
Volunteers work a variety of tasks including registration desk, manning program rooms, assisting exhibitors and generally anything that needs to be done to keep the show running. Are you local to the DC area? We need help getting out flyers and posters in the weeks before the show.
Volunteers are needed typically during the following times:
Friday – from 6pm – 10pm
Saturday – all day starting at 8am – 7pm
Sunday – morning and afternoon starting at 11am – 7pm
COVID POLICY:
While not required, SPX strongly encourages everyone attending the festival to wear a mask while indoors to limit the transmission of Covid-19 and other illnesses that commonly arise from crowded conventions.
If you are unable to provide your own, masks will be made available outside the ballroom and programming rooms. We thank you for considering the health of SPX’s community of exhibitors, special guests, volunteers, staff, and attendees.
