Ding Pao-Yen is a contemporary artist and cartoonist from Taiwan. Their dream-like work, infused with a love of online games and science fiction, was supported by the Angoulême comics artist residency in 2019. Not Ready for Real Life is Ding’s English debut–their books have been published in Chinese, French, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese.
